GOTHIC QUARTER FREE WALKING TOUR

Join our Gothic Quarter Free Walking Tour to discover the oldest part of Barcelona and learn about Catalan history, culture and traditions.

Starting from Plaza Catalunya let us take you through the winding, narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter, the oldest part of Barcelona. We’ll show you the most interesting monuments of the Roman and Medieval city such as the Cathedral, the Royal PalaceSant Felip Neri’s Square, the Roman walls, the Jewish Quarter and many more.

We’ll explore together 2000 years of Barcelona history from ancient ruins, old architecture through to the time of the Civil War. On the way we’ll meet kings, queens, invaders, dictators, artists, Christopher Columbus and even a Hairy Catalan!

At the end of the tour you can ask us about the best things to do in the Gothic Quarter. The closest museums and activities, great restaurants, tapas bars and the best place for Churros or paella in town!
